*New Freeware Releases

Dave Lyons has released Davex, DIcEd, and NiftyList as freeware. Lyons
made the announcement in an online chat at the Syndicomm Apple II
section. Lyons has been a long-time supporter and developer for the Apple
II platform and is currently working on Mac OS X projects as well as
writing drivers for the Apple II CompactFlash storage card currently
under development.

*Juiced.GS Subscription Bonus

While supplies last, new subscribers to Juiced.GS can get a free
ComputerEyes GS video capture card with their paid
subscription. Juiced.GS is the only remaining print publication for Apple
II computer users and enthusiasts. Visit the new Juiced.GS web site at
http://www.juiced.gs for details. The next issue of Juiced.GS is due to
be delivered mid-April.

*CompactFlash Storage Option Nearing Completion

Rich Dreher has posted that the parts have been ordered for his
CompactFlash storage card, and he expects to begin sales by the middle of
April. The card will support up to 4 32meg partitions under ProDOS 8, and
6 partitions under GS/OS. More information may be found at Rich's
website at: http://dreher.net/CFforAppleII/

*Golden Orchard CD

The Golden Orchard CD-ROM distributed by Joe Kohn's Shareware Solutions II
can now be ordered via the net, and paid for by credit card. The online
order form can be found at:

* User Groups redux

Postings in and around the net of meetings show that Apple II user groups
are still a popular way for Apple II people to share their knowledge and
love for the platform. While many user groups now include Macintosh
contingents, several out there are still dedicated solely to the Apple
II. To find a group near you (or for information on how to start
one!) check out the User Group sections at either the A2.Central.com
website (http://www.a2central.com) or the Apple II Motherboard
(http://www.wbwip.com/a2web)
